Workshops & Classes in Jaipur

Jaipur is one of the best cities in India for learning a craft from the people who practise it. Hand block printing is the obvious start: sessions are run in Sanganer, the printing town beside the airport, and in Amer, where the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing is based. Blue pottery, miniature painting, gem-setting and lac bangle-making are all taught in short formats by studios and family workshops, often in or near the walled city. Jawahar Kala Kendra adds its own programme, which in 2026 included a dhrupad workshop, a traditional folk-dance workshop and a junior summer programme. Cafés and studios in C-Scheme, Civil Lines and Malviya Nagar cover the modern list of sip-and-paint evenings, pottery wheels, baking, photography and candle-making.
