Things to do in C-Scheme

C-Scheme, officially Ashok Nagar, is Jaipur's central business and going-out district. Statue Circle, with its memorial to the city's founder Sawai Jai Singh II, is the landmark, and Birla Auditorium beside it hosts large stage shows, exhibitions and conferences. Diggi Palace, the heritage hotel on Shivaji Marg where the Jaipur Literature Festival began, still takes cultural events and weddings. Cafés, rooftop bars, boutique stores and co-working spaces fill the lanes around Sardar Patel Marg, Prithviraj Road and Ahinsa Circle, and Jai Club on Mahaveer Marg runs members' and ticketed festive nights. There is no metro station inside C-Scheme, so plan on an auto or cab.
