Things to do in Tonk Road

Tonk Road is the long southern artery that leaves the centre at Rambagh Circle and runs past Gandhi Nagar, Gopalpura and Durgapura to Sanganer, the airport turn-off and Sitapura. Business hotels, banquet halls and marriage gardens line it, and they host much of the city's conference, exhibition and wedding-season calendar, along with dandiya nights, New Year galas and fashion and lifestyle pop-ups. Gopalpura Bypass, which branches west towards Mansarovar, has a growing strip of cafés and lounges. Traffic is slow at office hours and before any big event at Sitapura. A north–south metro line along this corridor has been approved but is not yet running.
