Things to do in Sitapura

Sitapura is the industrial and institutional zone on the southern edge of Jaipur, and for event-goers it means one address: the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. JECC, run with the Novotel hotel on the same campus, hosts the Jaipur Jewellery Show every December, trade fairs through the winter, large weddings and the arena-scale concerts and comedy shows that no auditorium in town can hold. Chokhi Dhani, the Rajasthani village resort known for its evening fair and thali dinner, is a little further down Tonk Road. Allow an hour from the centre on a show night, and book your return cab before you leave.
