Things to do in Bapu Bazaar & Nehru Bazaar
1 events in bapu bazaar & nehru bazaar across Jaipur — mostly business (1).
Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar run along the inside of the southern city wall, between Sanganeri Gate, New Gate and Ajmeri Gate. This is where Jaipur shops for everyday Rajasthani things: mojari and jutti footwear, bandhani and lehariya dupattas, block-printed bedcovers and quilts, and lac bangles. Prices are negotiable and the lanes are shaded, which makes them workable even in summer afternoons. Each market has its own weekly closing day, so confirm before you go. Festival shopping peaks before Teej, Karwa Chauth and Diwali. Ram Niwas Bagh and Albert Hall Museum are across the road from New Gate, and both Chaupar metro stations are about a kilometre away.
