Things to do in Chandpole & Chhoti Chaupar

Chandpole Gate is the western entrance to the walled city, and Chandpole Bazaar runs from it to Chhoti Chaupar, the smaller of the old city's two main squares. Two Pink Line stations serve this stretch, which makes it the simplest starting point for a walk east towards Tripolia Gate and City Palace. Khazane Walon ka Rasta, off the main road, is the lane of marble carvers. The Teej and Gangaur processions pass through Chhoti Chaupar on their way to Gangauri Bazaar, and crowds gather here early on both evenings. Expect heavy traffic, e-rickshaws and narrow footpaths; the metro beats driving at any hour.
