Literary Events, Book Talks & Poetry in Jaipur
5 events coming up across Jaipur — mostly literature (5).
For five days each January, Jaipur is the centre of the literary world. The Jaipur Literature Festival, founded in 2006, holds its 20th edition from 14 to 18 January 2027 at Hotel Clarks Amer on JLN Marg, with more than 250 speakers by the organisers' count and Jaipur BookMark, a forum for the publishing trade, alongside. The rest of the year is quieter but steady. Jawahar Kala Kendra, which has a library of its own, and the Rajasthan International Centre host book discussions and lectures; festivals of ideas such as the Jaipur Dialogues, listed at Clarks Amer from 30 October 2026, bring authors and commentators to town; and Hindi, Urdu and Rajasthani poetry is heard at kavi sammelans, mushairas and café mehfils. This page lists book launches, author talks, poetry evenings, storytelling sessions and literary festivals in Jaipur.
