Festivals, Melas & Celebrations in Jaipur

12 events coming up across Jaipur — mostly festival (12). 1 is free.

Jaipur's festival year has a clear shape. Autumn opens with Navratri garba nights and Dussehra, then Lokrang, the free folk festival at Jawahar Kala Kendra, from 27 October to 6 November 2026, and Diwali on 8 November, when the walled-city bazaars are lit from end to end. January is the busiest month for visitors: the Kite Festival fills the sky on 14 January 2027, the same day the Jaipur Literature Festival opens at Hotel Clarks Amer for five days. Holi, called Dhulandi here, is on 22 March 2027. Two royal processions follow, both starting from City Palace and passing through Tripolia Bazaar: Gangaur on 9 and 10 April 2027, and Teej in the monsoon, with Hariyali Teej on 4 August 2027. This page lists festivals, melas, processions and festive events across Jaipur.
