About Diggi Palace
Diggi Palace is a heritage hotel on Shivaji Marg in C-Scheme, in a palace that dates back to the 1730s. For book lovers it will always be the place where the Jaipur Literature Festival began: the festival was founded in 2006 and held in the palace's courtyards for many years before it outgrew the space and moved to Hotel Clarks Amer. The hotel still works as an events address, hosting weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings and cultural evenings in its courtyards, banquet halls and gardens; its own website puts the upper limit at about 500 guests. A terrace baithak with live musicians is part of the hotel's regular offering for guests.
