Things to do in Vidhyadhar Nagar & Sikar Road

Vidhyadhar Nagar is the planned township in north Jaipur named after Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the architect of the original city. Its stadium is the north side's main event ground, booked for large garba and dandiya nights in Navratri, religious discourses, trade fairs and political rallies. Sikar Road, which runs along the township towards Murlipura and the Vishwakarma industrial area, has banquet lawns and a few bars and lounges that host DJ nights and touring comedy shows. Jhotwara and Shastri Nagar nearby are dense residential areas with neighbourhood melas. The Pink Line does not come this far, so use a cab from Sindhi Camp or Chandpole.
