Open Mic Nights in Jaipur

Jaipur's open-mic scene is small, friendly and cheap, and the events below are refreshed daily. The most regular fixture is the Jaipur Open Mic at Gypsy Monkey on Station Road, near Sindhi Camp. It is an all-formats session held on Sunday from 11 am: poetry, storytelling, spoken word, singing, stand-up, rap and mono-acting are all welcome, each performer gets up to eight minutes, and tickets for the October 2026 edition were listed from ₹99 to ₹299. 12notez, a music studio and jam room on Mansarovar Link Road, runs open mic nights for singers, instrumentalists and poets, including an English-language edition listed for 31 October 2026. Comedy has its own ladder: Jaipur Comedy Club behind World Trade Park is where touring comics play, and newer local comics work the rooms in bars such as Bottles and Chimney in Bani Park and Strings off MI Road. Hostels and cafés add mehfils, jam evenings and shayari nights on weekends. To watch, expect a small ticket or a minimum order; to perform, register in advance through the organiser's listing, because slots are limited. Most sessions are in Hindi, English or a mix.
