About Masala Chowk
Masala Chowk is the open-air street-food court in Ram Niwas Bagh, built on the site of the old Kiran Café. Rajasthan Tourism describes it as a collection of 21 stalls that bring the city's best-known street foods into one courtyard, with a ₹10 entry fee. It is where visitors try kachori, chaat, pav bhaji, kulfi and jalebi from established old-city names without having to find each shop in the bazaars, and it works well for mixed groups because everyone can order from a different counter and share a table. Evenings and weekends are busiest. It is not a ticketed-event venue, but food walks, family outings and marathon mornings regularly start or end here.
