Things to do in Jhalana Doongri

Jhalana Doongri is the institutional area east of JLN Marg, backed by the forested Jhalana hills. The Rajasthan International Centre here is one of the city's newer cultural venues, with a main auditorium and smaller halls that take talks, summits, music evenings and long-running stand-up and theatre shows. Government offices and training institutes fill the rest of the grid. The hills behind are a leopard reserve where the forest department runs morning and evening jeep safaris from the Jhalana gate, an unusual thing to have inside a state capital. Jawahar Kala Kendra is a few minutes away on JLN Marg.
