Things to do in Jagatpura

Jagatpura is a fast-growing suburb east of the airport, a mix of new apartment blocks, private universities and wide roads. Mahal Road is lined with wedding lawns and banquet palaces that double as venues for garba and dandiya nights, society melas and New Year parties, and the Akshaya Patra temple complex is the area's landmark. The open roads suit runners and cyclists: community runs, including the India Green Run listed for 31 January 2027, start here. Evenings are residential and quiet, with cafés clustered near the university campuses. Reach it by cab from Jawahar Circle or Malviya Nagar; there is no metro.
