Things to do in Agra Road & Galta

Agra Road leaves the walled city at Ghat Gate and climbs through Ghat ki Guni, a pass lined with old garden palaces. Sisodia Rani ka Bagh and Vidyadhar ka Bagh, both terraced gardens with painted pavilions, are used for heritage walks, photo shoots and small cultural evenings, and the Galta Ji temple complex, with its natural spring tanks, is in the hills above. Heritage runs and cycling groups favour this stretch on winter mornings. Beyond the pass, Jamdoli and the highway have farmhouses and resorts that host pool parties and private events. Come by cab; public transport is thin once you leave Transport Nagar.
